Extract: This display shows recent acquisitions of watercolours, prints and photographs. Most have been purchased or donated in the last few years. There is a wide variety of work on display from the 18th-century to contemporary work. Much has been acquired with the generosity of the Friends of Bristol Art Gallery, individual donors, the Arnolfini Collection Trust, and the MLA/V&A Purchase Grant Fund, a national grant-awarding body.
