Royal College of Art 2010 Graduate Shows
Exhibition: 28th May 2010 to 6th Jun 2010
Source: http://www.rca.ac.uk
Royal College of Art graduate shows offer visitors - some 40,000 of them came through the College's doors last year - a unique opportunity to experience the very best of emerging contemporary art and design practice. All exhibitions are free to the public (except SHOW FASHION), with much of the work - ranging from paintings to prints, glassware to jewellery, and furniture to textiles - for sale or commission.

For the first time, Painting students will be exhibiting in their new Sackler building in Battersea, running simultaneously with the Sculpture Show just across the road on Howie Street. This is followed by a separate show by Fine Art research students.

Dr Paul Thompson, Rector of the RCA said:

"The RCA fires on all cylinders this summer - both south and north of the river. I'm greatly looking forward to my first Shows as Rector of the College, having been an avid visitor in previous years."

Graduates will join a select roll call of RCA alumni that includes some of the world's most acclaimed artists and designers, such as David Hockney, Ross Lovegrove, Philip Treacy, David Adjaye, Tracey Emin, Jake and Dinos Chapman, James Dyson, Ridley Scott and Peter Blake.
